Hyllie square Malmö

The square is located on top of City Tunnel and is surrounded by sheer significant buildings, many constructed for other architectural competitions. On the square is a beech forest planted in the form of thirty trees covered in slots in the square's floor. Bokskogen signals a Scanian identity and gathers the extravagant architecture surrounding the square.

The lighting enhances the mysterious atmosphere around a scanian beech wood. Trees are lit with cold light coming through their crown from the top and with warm light at the bottom. Lightpoints suspended on cables in between master pillars are programmed to create a dynamic digital night sky.
