Kista Gård Park

The new development of the park is a free interpretation of the history to create a modern urban park for games, activities and social activity. Historical avenues, space and plants have been identified to connect the park to the landscape and its history. The forms of lawns and fruit-tree avenues have its origins in the plantations, once in straight lines and squared blocks.

The lighting is designed to give the park a functional and orientational lighting that submits to the park’s historical symmetry. The lighting creates an atmospheric experience of the park at night with shaded lights directed toward the park’s plants and upward selected solitary tree.
